Feedback from PATHS THAT CROSS

Here's the backstory on my buying a book. I will sometimes buy a book because of it's cover and/or title. Seriously, it has to appeal to me visually. That's a plain fact. Then I will read all the intro, acknowledgements, and the back cover to see who endorses the book....THEN... I will go through the Table of Contents to see which I choose to read first.

I think this manner of examining a book came from my years of owning a bookstore and being both the book buyer and the book seller. ha ha hee hee   It does not work for everyone but for me it's the way to go!

That's what I did with your book, PATHS THAT CROSS, when I got home Thurs night. Then the next morning I picked it up again and went to the next appealing chapter.  I was right there with you, Betty, as I read of all the people that you have crossed paths.  I was taken back to several situations in my life that were so astounding that they are imprinted in my heart.   Never in a million years, though, would I have guessed that what I was reading was preparing me for an "unexpected" path on Friday.

I know that I am a very spiritual person but not religious at all...I used to be! I can be in a crowd or be alone and know that the Lord is walking with me. Sometimes I feel that I run ahead of Him but this time he went before me and "set me up!"

I cannot tell you the details of my encounter because it resulted in me giving someone something, and I was not prepared for the reaction from that individual. AND I was not prepared for how it all happened. Just let me say that I was blessed so much by the experience and was immediately reminded of what I had read Thurs night & Fri morning in your book.  Isn't it amazing how God will lead us and teach us by His spirit!!???

So, you have not just written an inspirational book. This is your ministry, Betty. I know that it will touch many lives as they read it and as you speak to groups.

Just wanted to say that you are on the right path, and I am excited to hear more from you!

From time to time, we all can benefit from those whom God sent before us to build a bridge--a safe passage over sometimes dangerous waters. THE BRIDGE will reinforce that when faced with a perilous journey, the bridge needed may already be in place.
