"How
blessed I feel to have crossed paths with Betty Rich Hendon!
She is someone
who truly radiates God's love in everything
she does--and her writing reflects that. She lives what she writes
and she does it with a fresh and enthusiastic manner. Her ability
to see people through God's eyes comes out through all the interesting
situations and events she encounters along the path of life. [Paths
That Cross] is a MUST-READ for all of us who wish to grow in
our faith walk and all its winding paths."

"[Paths
That Cross] provides great insight and clarity about the need for each
of us to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy
Spirit in our daily life's. It further endorses the fact all of
us can and will be used by the Holy Spirit.

In
her discussion of walking with God, Betty Rich Hendon cautions
that we can have
the clear direction, but we have to "step
out" with God in the lead. Over and over again in Paths
That Cross, Betty illustrates stepping out in
courage. "Give
me courage to move my feet."

Teachers
have always played an important role in the upbringing and education
of our children. In these days their role is even more critical,
as children face a myriad of distractions, many of which are negative,
both at home and away. We, as parents and citizens, depend on
dedicated teachers to provide a positive environment to influence
our young ones. Betty Hendon is such an educator.
In
THE BRIDGE Betty Hendon shares her personal journey in a story
full of love, hope, expectation, encouragement, excitement and
inspiration. She taught me 12th grade English at Memphis Technical
High School many years ago, and I still have fond memories of
a young teacher with a sense of excitement and wisdom beyond her
years. She had a knack for challenging students at all levels,
and in a friendly and compassionate way. Her writing conveys that
trait strongly.
THE
BRIDGE will provide inspiration for people of all generations.
It is easy to tell that Betty Hendon writes with sincerity and
that she gives us a glimpse of what it is like to lead a God-centered
life. I believe that her words will help many to have a close
walk with their Lord.

I
have been acquainted with Betty Hendon for almost fifty years and
am very pleased to endorse her book, THE BRIDGE. She has always
been a find Christian woman, wife, mother, teacher and certainly
a friend. Her love of God and faith in God are evident in every
aspect of her life. This is clearly demonstrated in her autobiographic
book - THE BRIDGE.
